What trainees say

Please find below, some testimonials from our most recent cohort of trainees. Their views are very important to us, and we have regular opportunities for trainee feedback throughout the course. If you would like to talk to a current or past trainee, then please do let us know and we would be very happy to put you in touch with them.

My fellow trainees, the tutors, the children, the amazing support provided within training.

Jess Collins, 19/20

Being able to expand my subject knowledge, creating friendships and fellow trainees, tutors and the children and having the opportunity to see lots of schools ‘in the moment’ and put theory and policy into practice.

Jessie Richards, 19/20

Fab training sessions with experts in their area of learning, supportive class mentors and learning coaches and being able to exchange ideas with other trainees. Most importantly working with children, creating positive relationships which impacts on their love of learning!

Sophie Jackson, 19/20

I chose ILTT as I wanted to have 'in class' experience and training from people who are still working within the thick of school life and in the classroom. The training that we receive is current and useful, and I can see the benefits of it when using it in the classroom myself. My favourite part of the course is being able to work with the children in the classroom and gain first hand experience of becoming a teacher.

S. Lincoln ILTT Trainee 2018/19

The tutors, the school, the children, the friendships made the comfort zones stepped out of, the adventure had, the singing, laughing, the crying, the biscuits!

Nadine Trolley, 19/20
