Inspiring Leaders Welcomes Saeed Atcha MBE DL

Inspiring Leaders, a leading regional, not-for-profit partnership of Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) based in the East Midlands of England, is proud to announce the appointment of Saeed Atcha as the Chair of Trustees.

Saeed Atcha is a seasoned leader in the charitable sector and a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and social mobility. As the founder and CEO of Youth Leads UK, Saeed has been at the forefront of driving change for young people across Greater Manchester, providing more than 25,000 young people with opportunities to engage in volunteering, skills development, and social action opportunities.

With a career underpinned by personal experience of overcoming adversity, Saeed has dedicated over a decade to public service, influencing policy, and championing the potential of young generations. Recognised by Queen Elizabeth II with an MBE for services to young people, Saeed continues to contribute to the betterment of society through various leadership roles.

Saeed holds the distinction of being the youngest person ever appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester. His expertise has been sought in capacities such as a UK Government Social Mobility Commissioner, as a Trustee of youth-focused charities like Generation, Education & Employers, and Migrant Leaders. Saeed serves as a Governor at Manchester Metropolitan University and now brings his wealth of experience and dedication to Inspiring Leaders as Chair of Trustees.

Commenting on his appointment, Saeed Atcha said, “I am truly honoured to join Inspiring Leaders as Chair of Trustees. I believe in the power of education to transform lives, and I am excited to work alongside the talented team at Inspiring Leaders to further our mission of improving the life chances of young people in the region. Inspiring Leaders is a regional partnership committed to providing high-quality Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and fostering a rich community of practice for partner MATs. With Saeed Atcha as the Chairperson, Inspiring Leaders aims to become the partnership of choice for aspirant teachers and MAT leaders in the region, offering collaborative and professional development opportunities to educators.
