Our Stories
A heartfelt thank you from Inspiring Leaders
As we head into the summer holidays, I’d like to take a moment, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, to offer our deepest thanks to everyone who has contributed to another outstanding year across the Inspiring Leaders partnership.
To everyone involved in our SCITT, thank you.
Whether you are a Professional Tutor, Class Mentor, or a school leader providing vital support for placements and learning, your dedication is shaping the future of our profession. You give our trainees the confidence and grounding they need to flourish. Having attended every Trainee Assessment Panel this year, I’ve been continually inspired by the stories of resilience, growth, and excellence. Every story seems to end the same way: “It has been an amazing placement. The school and mentor went above and beyond!” That’s a direct reflection of your brilliance.
To our Expert Subject Leaders, your impact is immense.
Your passion, knowledge, and care in delivering subject expertise don’t just teach, they inspire. Across all phases and subjects, your contribution is transformative. External experts have praised not only the strength of our curriculum but also the outstanding quality of delivery. You bring learning to life and empower our trainees to become confident, passionate specialists.
To our MAT leaders, thank you for your leadership and generosity.
We’re especially grateful to those who have led our Professional Leadership and Learning Communities, and a warm welcome to the 20+ new colleagues who joined our steering group this year. Your voices are already helping us grow and improve. We remain firmly committed to ensuring that all partnership activity is practitioner-led, and rich in relevance and impact.
Survey feedback speaks for itself:
97% of delegates said the sessions helped them achieve their strategic goals.
95% said it supported their personal development.
One comment that stood out captured the spirit of our network beautifully:
“Visiting other schools has significantly shaped my thinking. The strength of our network lies in its collaboration—colleagues consistently go above and beyond. The shared agreement on non-competitiveness has been a standout value. Collaboration has been exceptional, and I can’t wait to rejoin the group next year.”
To our MAT partners, your commitment means everything.
You’ve made a conscious and valued choice to be part of the Inspiring Leaders community. Your trust and collaboration lie at the heart of our shared mission to address the real challenges schools face. Your support, belief in people, and the role you play in shaping the future of our profession are deeply appreciated as is your absolute commitment to improving the lives of the children and young people we all serve.
To every individual across our network, thank you.
There are far too many to name individually, but whether you lead from the front or work behind the scenes, please know, your contribution is seen, valued, and essential.
And a final, heartfelt thanks to our Central Team and SCITT colleagues.
Your tireless efforts, both behind the scenes and on the front line, are the backbone of our partnership. The resilience and success of our trainees this year is a direct result of your commitment to equity and excellence. I’m genuinely proud to work alongside such a talented and dedicated group of professionals. Our trainees—past and present—will look back and realise just how lucky they were to have been supported by you.
What sets our partnership apart is the extraordinary breadth of talent, generosity, and shared commitment across our network.
Together, we are delivering high-quality ITT and professional learning that is making a real and lasting impact in schools and communities.
As we close another academic year, I wish you all a restful, safe, and happy summer break.
Thank you for your continued support, your time, and your belief in our shared mission. We look forward to welcoming you back in September, refreshed and ready for another brilliant year.
