All lead partner schools are outstanding teaching school alliances and trusts in their own right and have a proven commitment and track record of developing effective leadership. The NPQ programmes are central to our approach to school improvement, allowing us to develop leadership capacity, identify talent and build effective networks.
Designated in 2012, Affinity Teaching School Alliance (ATSA), headed up by Kibworth Primary School, works across Leicestershire, Leicester City, Northamptonshire and Rutland and has 62 primary school partners. They lead several successful initiatives including designation as a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) in February 2014 and their work developing system leaders. They currently work with 16 NLE/LLE headteachers and 40 Specialist Leaders of Eduction (SLEs).

Ash Lea School
Ash Lea School is a Special School in south Nottinghamshire which caters for the educational needs of children and young people (age range 3 to 19) that experience complex learning difficulties and brings a wealth of leadership expertise. Ash Lea is a member of Candleby Lane Teaching School Alliance and Nottinghamshire Special School Soft Federation, so has played a significant role in collaborative school improvement.

Cotgrave Candleby Lane TSA
Cotgrave Candleby Lane School is a large primary school in south Nottinghamshire developed through the amalgamation of three schools in 2007. The school is a National Support School and cohort one Teaching School. It has developed a comprehensive CPD programme and has delivered a range of leadership programmes, both locally and nationally. There are currently 54 primary schools within the alliance across Nottinghamshire. Cotgrave Candleby Lane is the flagship school for the Flying High Trust.

Ebor Academy Trust is a mixed multi-academy trust comprising of small village and large urban schools across York and north east Yorkshire. They are also a founding member of the Ebor Teaching Schools Alliance. Ebor celebrate the uniqueness of each individual setting and shares skills and resources across the group. Ebor is a family of schools with a sense of responsibility for each other, building caring, strong, professional relationships. Ebor's vision is to provide great outcomes for schools’ pupils, staff and wider leadership teams, including governance. National Education Training & Support
NETS is a school driven CPD service which offers high quality courses through experienced and recognised course leaders, bespoke support to schools, accredited programmes with evidenced impact, whilst always being aware of affordability. We can also offer a bespoke support tailored to the needs of individual schools. The Redhill Academy is a large, mixed secondary school in the residential district of Arnold, north Nottingham. It caters for students across the 11-18 age and ability ranges and currently has 1340 students on roll, including a post 16 of 200. Redhill became an academy in December 2010 and have since been designated by the DfE as a National Support School. Principal, Andrew Burns, is a National Leader of Education. In April 2012 Redhill became a National Teaching School and currently lead an alliance of over 20 other schools.

Transform TSA has been a teaching school since May 2012 and in that time has grown to include 53 schools with a diverse membership of primary and special schools in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire. The TSA now offers over 40 development programmes, as well as bespoke school support. Transform has sought to create a unique partnership whose values are grounded in trust, investing in staff, giving all partners an equal voice in defining our aims and programmes, and ultimately improving outcomes for children.

Leicester Teaching School
The Leicester Teaching School (LeTS), part of Rushey Mead Educational Trust, is based at Rushey Mead Academy, Leicester. LeTS is a designated national OLEVI centre, manages a large Challenge Partner’s Hub and was a founder member of the East Midlands Teaching Schools Alliance (EMTSA).
The Teaching School has a strong track record of delivering high quality CPD and leadership development training, holds a national licence for Governor and Clerks development training and has a very strong group of NLEs, LLEs and SLEs who have all contributed to improved outcomes in a wide range of schools.
